+ABOUT
I was asked to create a logo for "HaloBaby", a company specialising in handknits for children. One specific detail of the logo was that it had to highlight the mixed gender appeal of the brand.
+CONCEPT
Using a font requested by the client - Comic Sans MS - I used light shades of pink and blue, which both have semiotic links to gender, to capture the mixed gender appeal. A halo was then applied over the logo, to symbolise the innocence of children, whilst also giving the brand a unique identity.
+TESTIMONIAL
"When Liam designed my shop logo, all I had to give him was the name and the preferred font. Liam had little to go on, but had many suggestions for me. He was very accommodating and keen to get the logo exactly right, which included reworking aspects of the design when I couldn't make up my mind! I still use the logo today as it has become my brand identity, and is recognised quickly in my field of work."
