This animation was for a project in my Digital Media Design class. The task was to create a video set to a piece of lyrics driven music, using only graphics - no video or text. I decided to be ambitious and animate my project on Flash. I used the song "Threshold" performed by Sex Bob-Omb for the Scott Pilgrim vs The World soundtrack.
+CONCEPT
The storyline was developed based on the song's lyrics. The line "Reaching my Threshold / Staring at the truth 'til I'm blind" was a major influence. I developed a story about a man, working hard to complete some work, all the while getting more and more frustrated as his work seems to never end. At one point, he reaches his threshold, and is consumed by the work. From then on, he ends up in a struggle against his work to escape and return to reality.
